I’m trimming the candles’ bangs, so it doesn’t smoke,
Every well dressed lamp wears a necklace or two.
An antique chair is fitted with a golden blouse,
And a mink stole graces the chaise lounge.
Highheels dangle from towel racks
And Cinderella dresses all aglow
Are suspended over glass tables laden with Cherubs and clocks.
Old movie stars hang out with children and grand children.
In ornate and dollar tree frames.
Sweet puppies, present and past “speak to us”
All through the day and night.
Enya and Fred (Hammond and Eaglesmith} take a spin on the turntable
Fancy feather mask watch over us all
Making sure no one sees through our many disguises
